Bidadari Park Wins HDB Landscape Awards 2025

Bidadari Park has clinched HDB’s inaugural Landscape Award, which celebrates the creation of green spaces that serve as recreational areas while enhancing biodiversity. The award, conferred by the Housing & Development Board (HDB), gave special recognition to Bidadari Park under the “Nature Park” category.

As the Lead Consultant for the Bidadari Park project, CPG Consultants worked with landscape architect Henning Larsen to create a vibrant green space that seamlessly blends community and nature, offering visitors various recreational experiences through features like the Adventure Playwoods and the Heritage Walk.

The picturesque Alkaff Lake, a landscaped lake bordered by cascading wetlands and a meandering stream, doubles as a stormwater retention pond that captures excess rainwater. Among its natural highlights is a rare low-branching Rain Tree, adding character and shade to the tranquil setting.

Every design decision was guided by the goal of building a welcoming, sustainable environment for surrounding communities.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to HDB, collaborating agencies, consultants, contractors, and all stakeholders whose vision and dedication made this achievement possible. Together, we have created a meaningful environment and demonstrated how well-designed green spaces can enhance the health and well-being of residents, while contributing to greater biodiversity and sustainable urban living.
