Project Details

A TOD District Blending Transit and Culture

Rooted in the city’s evolving residential fabric and expanding metro network, the project was never conceived as a single, static build. Instead, it has unfolded organically over time, growing and adapting like a living system, its form shaped by the emergence and transformation of the surrounding urban functions. Eventually, the entire project will become an important functional supplement to the residential clusters in the area and a core node of the subway system, connecting the city, the subway, and the residential areas, and integrating nature and artificiality.

It takes shape as a three-dimensional garden block closely connected with nature. Its architecture weaves together vitality and culture, creating a dialogue between tradition and modernity. Local design elements, including water channels and arches, are thoughtfully incorporated, inspiring a distinctive facade expressed through fluid lines and wave-like textures.

The site’s natural hills were preserved and the terrain followed rather than flattened, creating nearly 20 metres of level difference across the district. This results in a three-dimensional garden environment with winding pedestrian paths and green terraces, offering an experience akin to walking through a natural hillside.
